the heart is a paradox

with each step towards heart opening...there is a rip that runs through this idea of ego...
this need to feel loved...replaced by an opening towards loving unconditionally...
my own wants and needs can never fill in the void...
as i fall on my own sword...each death is a rebirth...a renewal of this choice to be open to love no matter how painful or difficult...
and what feels like a painful wound heals into an open acceptance of what is always already love...

Help

First off, great words there sensei, echoes what the great teachers have said.Enjoyed it, thanks!
Yeah, I mean die with grace, die quickly and get over it and be alive again. It’s all the lead up to it that does the harm.As we become more aware of the process, we ‘fall on our swords’ so much quicker and choose life in an instant. There is no need for much stress, lessons, situations, illness, long drawn out discussions. It’s like, ok I know that it all leads to the same place, so I’m just going to go ahead and get on with it.The rest of you can carry on with doing all that, if you need to, that’s your decision. But I’m going to pass up on all that laborious learning process and unnecessary heartache, because now I know better - I choose LIFE!
I think the following quote is pertinent:
“That’s why we love terminally ill cases. because once you’ve reached the place where the doctors have said, “We can do nothing more for you,” that’s usually at the first point that you begin to pay attention to what you’re thinking. In other words, “Oh, you mean there’s nothing else you can chop off of me, or there’s no more pill you can give me, or there’s no other possible method? You mean I’m going to have to align my Energy? Well, all right then.” - Abraham Hicks

Cheers!
PS: ” my own wants and needs can never fill in the void…”
Do you mean you’re wanting not to face it? An alternative?
hmmm…interesting twist…
trying to fill in the unfillable…
and with each attempt…attaining better recognition of the fruitlessness of my efforts…
Well Blessed Be, I recognize that station in me once, and I was talking to someone last night about his dance with his ego. Oh my he wants to kill it, kill it!
Then I wondered why can’t we just cleanse it with compassion, caress it with understanding, precious respect, and mothering-fathering it, my goodness curling up inside and hugging it, saying something like, Yes dear you have walked the dark and now that is done, over, we can go on free of it. Free of the pain forever. Yes
Love to all.
We will see through the socalled ego…
Indeed sensei. Interesting flow of thought there. Perhaps even the heart could be described as a Para-box. :)
