i'm constantly amazed by the connections i've made over these past few years...
speaking yesterday with a friend of mine who had spent 12 hours bringing a girl back to life...three hours of chest compressions and then getting her hooked up to life support as she went from no heartbeat to responding to stimuli...it was amazing to hear him express the depth of that experience...to be able to witness the enormity of what he went through in a situation that many of us will never encounter...i felt honored to be on the recieving end as he finished by saying he was glad he could talk to me about it...
and this seems to be the role i'm moving into...surrounded by all these talented and amazing people who are diving deeply into a world that few experience...and few can comprehend...my service may be in reminding them of both their humanity and transcendence...
but back to practice! as this is my task in order to maintain and provide balance for all my friends...
this poem from a teacher/mystic who has been a big influence in my life:
The Fierce Deities Are Clear
What will it take to really breakthrough
the Himalayan pile of shit
that dams up the wild river that could be your life?
A casual glance?
Taking a stab at it now and then?
Practicing whenever you feel like it?
No, that just won't do.
It'll take a flaming, diamond sword
to rend the veils between you and the Holy One.

Excellent stuff.That poem is brilliant, just what I've been thinking on recently.A friend asked me about Angels recently, and I said I used to think on angels a little, but that I knew that defining them was like the “veils” Nice kind of veils I suppose, but veils all the same.Angels were like ” Taking a stab at it now and then?” as are other such things.
When you are the whole, you are the angels, and therefore you need not see them as separate or even call them 'Angels' or even see them as 'them', because they are you.You are everything.

it’s so nice and cosy here.
Last night i had a really good cry… just needed to release, you know. And flex, i do beleive we’re all One, but i appreciate the individuations that there are. I choose to separate from the invisible eventhough the energy is all part of the Whole ball of Energy! I like experiencing the subtleties…. like a baby seeing colours for the first time.
Angels: tangible and intangible. God/Energy/Force conveying through another soul, uplifting a troubled vessel, as it sensed the ripple of thought this vessel sent out.
I’ve been woken by a loud ‘Hark!’ before. embraced by the Warmth. Touched on the heart. There’s no doubt this energy exists. I say ‘energy’ because it’s nothing solid, formed…
I just merely Wonder. it’s just really amazing…

I know what you mean about the subtelties elme.In fact this subject has been particuarly on my mind recently (we must be tuned into the same wavelenght methinks).I was going to write a blog called “the subtleties of life” a few days ago, but decided not to.
Something in me just draws me on, I can't stop there, and that's that.
